About the Trainer:

John Botha

John Botha is a senior consultant in Global Business Solutions. He has represented BUSA at NEDLAC, is a member of the CAPES Executive and has previously held the Global Executive: Strategic Enablement and Business Optimisation for a listed workforce solutions business.

Given the integrated and inter-dependent nature of workforce solutions considerations and drivers, the core modules are all part of the strategic client analysis methodology.

Course Outcomes for Delegates:

  • Understand the strategic impact of internal and external factors on client workforce strategy
  • Conduct a workforce solutions-based analysis of the client’s business
  • Understand the types of workforce solutions and models as well as their impact on key business drivers
  • Explain the appropriation of risk across various workforce models
  • Interpret and optimise the “deeming” provisions in the LRA and EEA
  • Design workforce operating models that address stakeholder needs
  • Understand the key provisions of the primary labour laws and regulations across the operating models and the cost/benefit of each
  • Understand the laws pertaining to FTC management and what can be done to legitimise FTC’s and to manage them
  • Plot the workforce movement value chain and conduct effective due-diligences
